The hamlet of Anzac is located in the southern region of the Municipality and easily accessible from Alberta Highways 63 and 881. It was established as a stopping point on the Alberta Great Waterways Railway line in 1917. There are approximately 785 residents currently residing in Anzac according to the 2015 census.
