New Construction Homes in Fort McMurray

Do you know that “new car” smell? New construction and nearly new homes in Fort McMurray have it, too. Not every home on this list will be brand new, but they will be built in 2016 or more recently. 2016 was the year of the Fort McMurray wildfire and not much was built in 2015 because of the recession. Also, because a lot of builders came from out of town, and because many owners had lots of flexibility to build what they wanted, we found that design really changed around that time. These homes are the newest ones in town and, in some cases, they’re found on good sized lots. From a Canadian perspective, that’s unusual for new homes, so enjoy browsing. Arguably, newer homes tend to depreciate more quickly than an older home, especially if it’s a mobile home.
